How to Remove Yellow Toilet

I used to treat the toilet like a single chore. Squirt, swish, flush, pretend I didn’t see the underside of the seat. Then a guest lingered in the half-bath long enough that I started seeing the room the way they did. Yellow on the plastic. A brown necklace at the waterline. Drips hiding under the rim like they paid rent.

Toilet stains are not a personality flaw. They are chemistry meeting a damp room. Urine dries into a film. Hard water leaves minerals. Iron in well water rusts on the glaze. Plastic seats slowly oxidize in light and air. If you grab one hero product for all of that, you scrub for an hour and still live with a shadow.

Here is how I actually clean toilet stains now: name the mark, pick one method, give it dwell time, and keep the bottles from meeting each other in a closed bathroom.
