Florida Republican Rep. Carlos A. Giménez resigned as co-chair of the Congressional Friends of Spain Caucus over Madrid's controversial policies regarding Israel.
In a letter to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Giménez stated that recent actions by the Spanish government made his continued leadership impossible.
